Chelsea Hueth obtained her juris doctor, cum laude, in 2007 from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in April 2008. Chelsea is admitted to practice before all Nevada state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Ms. Hueth joined the Las Vegas office of Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen & McBride in 2015 and was later named Partner in the firm. Chelsea specializes in healthcare law and professional negligence defense. 

Chelsea also represents clients in administrative proceedings before various entities; including, the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners and the Nevada State Board of Nursing. Chelsea has also had the opportunity to defend medical professionals in mass tort litigation pending in both state and federal courts in Nevada and has successfully tried to verdict several professional negligence cases. 

Ms. Hueth has extensive appellate experience, including written briefing and presentation of oral argument to the Nevada Supreme Court, sitting en banc.

In 2013, Chelsea authored the article, “Shrinking the Statute of Limitations,” published in Physician Insurer. Chelsea has also been an invited speaker at many professional organizations on topics of Risk Management, Current Trends in Medical Malpractice Claims, and Document Retention Issues.
